We’ll be hosting our last cold plunge of the season and what a better way to end this season than teaching everyone the Wim Hof Method and then putting it to practice with cold exposure!💪
The Wim Hof Method contains periods of hyperventilation and breath-holding that will easily help you withstand extreme cold. It has also been shown to help with depression, anxiety, mood, mental focus, and pain management. We are experienced cold plungers and will guide you through the whole process!⚡️
Over time, we humans have developed a different attitude towards nature and we’ve forgotten about our inner power: this is the ability of our body to adapt to extreme temperatures and survive within our natural environment. The Wim Hof Method is based on this principle.
Because we wear clothes and artificially control the temperatures at home and at work, we’ve greatly reduced the natural stimulation of our bodies, giving up the age-old mechanisms related to our survival, basic health and functioning. Because these deeper physiological layers are no longer triggered, our bodies are no longer in touch with this inner power. BUT this inner power is a force that can be reawakened by stimulating these physiological processes through the Wim Hof Method.
Here’s how the Workshop Schedule will look like:
• 7-7:10pm: Crowd gathering + setting up
• 7:10-7:30pm: Wim Hof Method Breathwork
• 7:35pm: Cold Plunge at Sunset ☀️
• 7:40pm: Regathering + Warming Up
Here’s what you have to bring:
✅ a Yoga/Picnic Mat (something you can lie down on)
✅ a Towel
✅ Swimsuit (something to wear for the plunge)
✅ Change of Clothing
✅ a Water Bottle
✅ Your Energy
