VIP Screening: Mitchell F. Chan's Zantar Triptych

​Nguyen Wahed is pleased to present Insert Coin(s), an exhibition of new works by the Canadian artist Mitchell F. Chan. This exhibition brings together Chan's new video-game artworks alongside selected significant earlier pieces, creating a dialogue between conceptual art, gaming culture, and blockchain technology. The new artworks in the exhibition tell a single story together through three distinct art series and one work of fiction.

​Exhibition screenings take place in small groups accompanied by the artist and the curator in the gallery space. During the 1.5 hour guided tours, they will provide information about the exhibited works, and visitors will have the opportunity to interact with Chan's video-game artworks and engage directly with the interactive installation.

​The guided tours take place twice daily at 10am and 2pm during Frieze Art Week New York 2025 (6-10 May). These interactive sessions offer a unique chance to explore how Chan challenges traditional art consumption by transforming viewers into players engaged in carefully crafted narratives.
