👩🌾 Kate Ogeden, Head of Advocacy and Movement Building at Seventh Generation. - Kate leads the company’s advocacy work through partnership with movement-leading NGOs and through organizing spaces dedicated to the business community’s advocacy for climate justice, democracy, reproductive freedom, and other issues. Prior to Seventh Generation, Kate spent 12 years at the global environmental organization Greenpeace. Kate is passionate about climate and energy justice and has also developed and implemented advocacy campaigns on toxics regulation, deforestation, protecting our oceans, and protecting the right to protest. She graduated from Brown University and currently resides in Vermont with her family.
👩🌾 Miranda Magaña, co-founder of MiniNature Reserve, a grassroots NPO whose mission is to restore Indigenous plants in urban areas through community-led guerrilla gardens and educational initiatives. MiniNature advances environmental justice and urban restoration through innovative and inclusive approaches. In two years, MiniNature Reserve has transformed over 30,000 square feet of land and engaged more than 700 volunteers through over 4,000 volunteer hours. The organization has garnered support from Patagonia, REI, Cheetos, the Village and Wilderness Foundation, and the community.
