SG PLG Meetup #5: Fireside Chat
Join us for the Singapore Product-led Growth (PLG) Meetup fireside chat!
We’re excited to feature four distinguished speakers in the product management and growth space who will share their expertise on leveraging user-centric approaches to drive product growth and business expansion.
In this fireside chat, you’ll have the opportunity to learn, exchange ideas, and gain fresh perspectives on topics such as:
Strategies and tactics for driving product-led growth
Enhancing stakeholder management and fostering cross-functional partnerships
Increasing the perceived value of your product
We also encourage you to bring your own topics and collaborate on problem-solving with peers and our expert speakers.
After the fireside chat, we'll transition into our usual casual networking session. This isn’t one of those awkward networking events where you just exchange business cards or LinkedIn connections. Instead, expect a relax and interactive atmosphere where you can build genuine, authentic connections.
About the speakers
Alan Chan is the Head of Growth and Marketing at Lark APAC. He has a wealth of knowledge in navigating the China market and expanding businesses into Southeast Asia (SEA), with a B2B focus. If you are looking to advance in your career, or how to achieve product-market fit through growth hacking techniques, explore such topics with Alan. He is able to share his experiences in cross-border collaboration, team dynamics, and overcoming any challenges in product and/or marketing.
Dominic Ong is a Senior Product Manager at Geniebook. He brings over 10 years of product experience in the B2C sector across various Southeast Asian markets. He is an expert in cross-functional collaboration and the effectiveness of different marketing channels for customer acquisition. Beyond product management, you can speak to Dominic about market-specific communication styles, data management, and insights into navigating regulatory landscapes.
Guru Belagali is a Principal Product Manager at Ohmyhome. He has extensive experience in driving 0-1 stage products. His professional journey spans large corporations, mid-sized firms, and startups, including Lazada, PropertyGuru, and Ohmyhome. He loves to balance value creation and perception to minimise the extreme build trap and incorporate product discovery early in the development process. With his experience as an angel investor, Guru offers unique and practical insights with a distribution-first mindset. Engage with Guru to learn how to bridge the gap between data and commercial value. Dive deep into discussions about the types of data needed, the necessary amount, key metrics to track, and most importantly, how data impacts commercialisation.
Pei-Ran Yu is a growth specialist dedicated to leveraging data tools and generative AI to drive growth for tech startups. As a mentor at accelerators like Seedstars, Orbit Startups, and Antler, she has guided numerous early-stage startups in developing data-driven growth strategies. With a background in leading product and monetisation growth for Mobike in international markets and Careem across the MENA region, Pei has developed extensive experience in localised growth hacks. Recently, she explored gen AI-empowered growth, sharing her insights with NYU students as a guest lecturer, and continues to explore how data science can supercharge early-stage startups' growth.
