Roaring '20s Speakeasy Experience (brought to you by Tribe x Vently)
The year is 2024. A century after the beginning of the Prohibition era, there has emerged once more a threat to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
After years of forced pandemic-led isolation, the world has lost its way. In-person gatherings have become a relic of the past. Conversations seem doomed for small talk. Remote work and AI fuels an even deeper retreat from reality into the metaverse. An epidemic of loneliness has descended on urban society.
In the wake of a mass exodus from the city, there are murmurs of a resistance brewing in the Bay. Seduced by the promise of a renaissance, 30 San Franciscans respond to the call to restore our city to a village. Hand-picked to be their co-conspirators, they are summoned to an underground meeting spot on Aug 30 to meet one another and mark the formation of this new collaboration between Tribe and Vently. 🎈

We're inviting you next week to begin this uprising and gather in a secret location for an evening of connection that is inspired by the rebellious energy of the '20s. ✨
So dust off your fanciest non-conformist attire and join your fellow conspirators to mark the formation of our movement through curated conversations and liquid libations. 🥂
Note - to preserve the secrecy of our underground hideout, you will receive the location directions via text at 12pm on the day of the event. Plan to meet us at the Union and Fillmore Street intersection.🤫
The Rules:
Break some rules with your attire. 🎩👠
Wear 1920s inspired clothing and accessories.
Put your personal touch on your attire, even (especially) if it's a fashion faux pas.
Think 'Roaring 1920s' meets 'Athleisure 2020s', e.g. a tweed blazer with lulu joggers.
Bring your favorite bottle of wine to share. 🍷
Bring enough to share with 3-4 new friends.
Eat dinner before. You'll be too busy making new friends to eat during the event.
You can't pour yourself a drink, only others. 🍸
If you need a drink, introduce yourself to a fellow rebel and ask them to pour you one.
Arrive on time and stay for the whole event. 🕗
Doors close at 8pm sharp.
No early departures - we have some activities planned.
