Cinema Club: September
Electric Medway Cinema Club presents... Autumn Feature TBC
🎞️ September's selection is currently being finalised from our shortlist of outstanding independent films and then voted for by you, our attendees. Whether it's intimate character studies, innovative documentaries, or bold international cinema, we're dedicated to bringing you films that provoke thought and stir emotion.
Our signature XR opening will feature another locally commissioned piece, connecting cutting-edge technology with powerful storytelling.
Programme
18:45 Doors open
19:00 B-movie experience
19:20 Break
19:30 Main event
21:15 End (approx.), followed by informal (and optional) post-movie discussion at Wolfe & Castle, 44 High Street, Rochester
Stay and Chat
After the screening, we invite you to join a relaxed post-film discussion at local craft beer pub Wolfe & Castle. Share your thoughts on the story, performances, cinematography or whatever aspect of the film resonated with you. It's a casual opportunity to connect with fellow film enthusiasts and exchange perspectives. No film analysis expertise required – just bring your impressions and experiences!
About Cinema Club
Founded in Spring 2025, bringing the best of indie cinema and more to Medway, Electric Medway Cinema Club is chance to catch the movies that may have passed you by, or you would never have considered seeing!
Cinema Club events may start with an XR short - such as a film, virtual reality or augmented reality experience - all commissioned by Electric Medway and from local creators. You'll get an idea of both the work we do and the talent in the area. There will be opportunity to discuss the feature film afterwards.
