Volunteer-Led Events: Heart of Dinner
This event is part of a brand new series that are volunteer-led! Anyone from the Drawing Room community can learn more and submit a proposal here.
This month, our community member KellyAnne will be organizing to lead us through a volunteer crafting activity!
We're giving back by working with Heart of Dinner. Heart of Dinner is an organization dedicated to reducing food insecurity and loneliness among Asian American seniors living in under-resourced communities. They deliver nourishing meals prepared by local restaurants and food distributors, and they also like to include a special touch to brighten their day by packaging them in bags decorated by volunteers!
We'll be decorating the delivery bags together and connecting with each-other, while giving back to those who need our care.
IMPORTANT NOTES: All tickets are final sale. We are a shoes-off, socks-required space; please bring your own socks or we have some for purchase for $1. Our events are geared towards connection through creativity; for many, you will be sitting around shared tables. Unfortunately, during ticketed events, we are unable to accommodate any children/babies under 5 years of age. Dogs are also not permitted at events. Upon entering our space you are consenting to photography/videography that may be used for promotional purposes.
Please reach out to info@nycdrawingroom.com if you have any questions in the meantime.
