The Non-Linear Road from Corporate to Entrepreneurship

A Fireside Chat at Sueños Social Club (Mid City) - July 20th from 6:30pm-9:30pm

This intimate evening is dedicated to the trailblazing First-Gen Dreamers—those of us who are the first in our families to break out of the 9–5 mold, follow a spiritual calling, or build a creative business rooted in purpose over paycheck.

Being stuck at a soul-sucking job is a one track path to burnout. There is a better way. The entrepreneurial journey isn’t for everybody - in fact, it’s for very few. It’s a non-linear path full of ups and downs. But if you’re willing to put in the work and find the right resources and support system, you’ll find yourself in an incredible position to succeed.

Join us for a soulful fireside chat featuring Odalys, Alison, and Tiff, here’s a little bit about each of them:

Odalys

Odalys Jasmine is a first-gen Honduran-American from Southeast San Diego. She has spent the last 7 years working within internal marketing and content production roles at tech giants like LinkedIn and TikTok, while simultaneously building her brand and podcast, Hella Latin@. Whether it’s content production within tech or for her own brand, Odalys is on a mission to give people the mic to share their story and use their voice for change. Because if we don't tell our stories, who will?

Alison

Alison is a LA native and lifelong creative with over a decade of experience in TV production and marketing. Inspired by an ever-present fascination with the human essence and her own experience with burnout, Alison created Treats., a burnout prevention and recovery community that provides working folks the time, space, and inspiration to curate their own self-care routines. Her advocacy work has lead to powerful workshop collaborations with organizations like WalkGoodLA, The LA Public Library and The Broad Museum. She is a fierce defender of personal power and believes individuals functioning at their best leads to a society functioning at its best :)

Tiff

For this fireside event you can expect personal stories, an exploration of mindset shifts, and an unpacking of the real inner work that comes with navigating the entrepreneurial journey. We’ll carve out some time to break bread, meet one another, and some Q&A at the end. Here's the official itinerary:

6:30pm - Doors Open, Check-In, Dinner is Served

7:30pm - Panel Begins

8:15pm - Q&A

8:45pm - Close Out the Night & Mingle

Dinner and drinks will be included. Dress confidently!

Whether you're in the midst of a pivot, navigating identity shifts, or craving a space where ambition meets intention—you'll be in good company.

Good people, guaranteed.
