About the Instructor:
Omar Omar is a stage and screen actor who worked with seasoned artists at The George Washington University before earning his BA in Theatre from the American University in Cairo.
He made his onscreen debut as Yasser in the MBC anthology series “Into the Dark,” and went on to appear as Dr. Amr in the popular Ramadan series “Kamel El Adad +1,” as well as Ramzy in “Kol Sana Mara.” In Ramadan 2025, Omar starred as Malek in “Athena,” joining an ensemble cast led by Sawsan Badr, Reham Haggag, and other prominent talents.
In addition to his work as an actor, Omar leads acting workshops at both the American University in Cairo and Luke Lehner Studios, where he shares his passion for performance with the next generation of artists.
Workshop Description:
Keep your instrument active in The Actor’s Playground — a three-hour drop-in of games, improv, and exercises for actors with prior training. Stay sharp, stay playful, stay truthful.

عُمر عُمر ممثل مسرحي وسينمائي عمل مع فنّانين مخضرمين في جامعة جورج واشنطن قبل أن يحصل على بكالوريوس المسرح من الجامعة الأمريكية بالقاهرة.
قدّم أول أدواره على الشاشة في مسلسل “Into the Dark” من إنتاج MBC بدور ياسر، ثم ظهر بدور د. عمرو في المسلسل الرمضاني الشهير “كامل العدد +1”، وكذلك بدور رمزي في “كل سنة مرة”. وفي رمضان 2025، شارك عمر في بطولة مسلسل “أثينا” بدور مالك إلى جانب سوسن بدر، ريهام حجاج، ونخبة من النجوم.
إلى جانب عمله كممثل، يُقدّم عمر ورش تمثيل في كلٍّ من الجامعة الأمريكية بالقاهرة وLuke Lehner Studios، حيث يشارك شغفه بالأداء مع الجيل الجديد من الفنانين.
