Amelia and Bhavana, the driving forces behind this event, have an inspiring story of professional connection turned friendship.
Their paths first crossed at Mediacom in 2018, where Amelia led as Media Director and Bhavana as Chief Client Officer. It wasn't until after their tenure there that they discovered they were neighbors - talk about a small world!
As their friendship grew, so did their careers. Both ventured into entrepreneurship, founding their own businesses. Through this journey, they've remained close, sharing successes, challenges, and insights.
Their experiences as women of color in leadership roles highlighted the importance of mutual support among women in business. This realization sparked the idea for this event - a platform for women from diverse industries and backgrounds to connect, share experiences and foster growth together.

Until There Are Nine: is a membership platform, powered by experiences of successful executives, that teaches women how to get their rightful share of compensation and advancement opportunities.
While many women have lots of mentors, they’re not receiving practical training and tools in the workplace on critical aspects of career development. Until There Are Nine provides a powerful combination of lessons learned from Advisors in the form of playbooks and step by step guides coupled with 1:1 advice that many women find invaluable.
Founder & CEO Bhavana Smith, who spent 25+ years in marketing, realized the support system her friends and colleagues needed when it came to negotiating compensation. She wanted to find a way to share their lessons learned and their experiences with other women.
