About Event

Join us for an night to learn from founders in web3 about opportunities and challenges building in Ethereum ecosystems!

  • Fireside chat with Ye on Sentio : Building the "Firebase for crypto", Ye, a YC founder, will share his experience building custom indexer, dedicated database, apis, debuggers which is used by many projects like Pyth, Pendia, Renzo, Zircuit and many more.

With Sentio, you can spin up a new project without spending huge amount of resources on data infrastructure, and often using fragmented set of tools. Sentio invested heavily in client SDK for developers to write type-safe scripts with all the libraries needed. Sentio is based on ClickHouse, a fast, efficient open source database and timeseriesdb, supporting complex SQL/GraphQL queries at scale. Sentio also provides powerful dev toolings for you to gain insight and troubleshoot your transactions.

  • Sharing on Starta by Henry: Henry, founder of Starta (https://starta.loans), a DeFi lending protocol, will talk about the promises and challenges in building a crypto product that everyone can use. From challenges of mobile, onboarding experience to consumer expectation

"Most of the next billion users will be normies. Building for normies means meeting them where they are."

Henry designed the first post-quantum encrypted messaging protocol on Ethereum and in a past life helped Kia launch 3 cars and ran and sold a multi-million dollar ad network that reached 100 million people in the US.

  • Hackathon sharing: Vincent will also share his recent experience winning 2 Finalists in ETHGlobal hackathons, Ethereum Localization Service at Scaling Ethereum and CIV AI at HackFS
