Christopher serves as the VP of Machine Learning & Data Engineering and has led these teams since November 2018. Prior to The Realreal, he built many of the first ML & Data solutions at companies of various sizes and industries. Chris studied computer science & econometrics and holds two masters degrees from Old Dominion University.
Soledad Rivas - Tech Manager & MLOps Engineer, Tryolabs
Soledad is a machine learning engineer and technical leader with over 5 years of experience building and deploying AI systems. She has led computer vision, infrastructure, and integration projects across industries including luxury retail, food tech, and sustainability. Soledad is skilled at taking models from research to production. Soledad holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering.
Subutai Ahmad - CEO, Numenta
Subutai is an accomplished technologist driven by a passion for neuroscience and intelligent systems. He has been instrumental in driving Numenta’s research, technology and business since 2005. Subutai holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Cornell University, and a Ph.D in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Vinod Cheriyan - Data Scientist, Stitch Fix
Vinod works in the intersection of data science architecture and software systems. He loves working with teams and models (the beautiful, mathematical kind). Whether it is leading a team of people to develop a technology or strategy solution, or whether it is modeling bounded-rational customers to study their impact on asset prices, he is equally excited.
Mark Dijkstra - Data Scientist, Stitch Fix
Mark is a former astrophysicist turned data scientist. Academic research focussed on the formation of the first stars, black holes and galaxies in our Universe. PhD from Columbia University. Postdocs at the University of Melbourne, Harvard & Max Planck Institute for Astrophysics. Has happily been at Stitch Fix for 6 years working on the "global optimization" team.
