Sehmel Homestead Park Birding Walk
Join Tahoma Bird Alliance member and volunteer Melissa Sherwood for a walk through Sehmel Homestead Park. Participants should expect to head out at 8AM to walk the trails before returning to the meeting spot to count up sightings. Birders of all ages and skill levels welcome, but minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Meet in the Southeast parking lot. Turn right when you come off 101st St NW and keep going until you pass the Pavilion. Look for a group of people with binoculars! Expect a mostly flat walk over boardwalks and packed earth trails. Restrooms are available near the parking area.
