Mariam is a dynamic Product Manager with over three years of experience in E-commerce, Edtech, and Fintech industries. Currently working at a leading fintech company, she also manages the EmpowerHer Product Management Slack channel, fostering a thriving community for women in tech.

Her contributions extend to open source, having actively worked with Oppia.org and led the development of Wokhive, an open-source platform for freelancers. Mariam is also the founder and creative director of a Nigerian bag production company, showcasing her entrepreneurial spirit.

Beyond tech, she is passionate about social impact, volunteering with initiatives such as:
