Meet the Speakers:
Gareth S Price: CTO of CorralData, where he leads the development of AI-powered business analytics tools that democratize data insights for non-technical users. As a leader of the engineering teams behind the 2021 Pulitzer Prize-winning COVID-19 coverage at The New York Times, Gareth has driven technology initiatives that have generated over $500MM in ARR growth across his career. Prior to CorralData, he managed web conversion teams at the Times during a doubling of their digital subscription base from 5.25MM to 10.98MM subscribers, and at Codecademy was a founding member of their growth team. With a degree in Artificial Intelligence from The University of Manchester and extensive experience in scaling high-growth companies, Gareth combines deep technical expertise with a passion for making the benefits of new technology accessible to all. Having emigrated from England, he brings a global perspective to building inclusive, high-performing engineering teams.
Melinda Crump is a public relations leader with a history of scaling business through effective media relations and strategic communications. With a background in public relations, entrepreneurship, and fintech, she specializes in delivering communications solutions that drive brand recognition, foster strategic partnerships, and position companies for growth. Melinda joined the fintech sector early in its evolution, becoming a founding team member at Sageworks, playing a pivotal role in securing national media coverage early on that directly supported market adoption and strong sales growth. Her efforts in media relations, including placing articles and broadcast segments in major outlets like CNBC, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Reuters, and Bloomberg, contributed to Sageworks' successful acquisition by Accel-KKR. With expertise in translating complex financial information into plain language, she has also worked with various firms across other industry sectors—real estate, economics, biopharma, and financial investing—securing high-level interviews and media placements. Her collaborative approach, combined with creative insight and analytics, allows her to bridge the gap between technology firms and the media, helping them connect with their audiences and achieve their business objectives.
Kristin Kenzy: Over the last 20 years, Kristin Kenzy has launched companies in real estate development, tech, and media, and even did the soul-crushing corporate thing on a few occasions. Kristin recently served as Managing Editor at the entrepreneurship publication Trends by The Hustle. She then went on to create Drunk Business Advice, a weekly newsletter filled with unfiltered stories about the world of work, and provides thought-leadership ghostwriting to top CEOs, publishing 180k+ words which received more than 4.8 million unique reads in the last year. Kristin is the founder of Stealth Mastermind, an intimate entrepreneurship community, and Rebel Scribes, a business storytelling cohort. Kristin has also developed curricula for youth entrepreneurship programs, and serves as a guest thesis advisor to her alma mater, Harvard's Graduate School of Design, Executive Education. She is an expert on business communications in all of its forms.
(ms.) Charlie Schroder: is a brand, business, and franchise builder who operates at the intersection of content and technology. Whether as a change management specialist brought in to revitalize legacy businesses or as a consultant to Seed and Series A stage startups to provide market-fit, customer insights, and GTM expertise, she has a track record of efficient, smart-scaling successes. In her most recent role as Head of Original Content for Scribd, Inc. – a Ycombinator-backed digital content platform founded by Forbes 30 Under 30 Trip Adler – she orchestrated customer-centric data models, launched new product initiatives, and partnered with high profile talent to produce projects that accelerated the company’s subscription growth and retention goals. She was a Co-Founder and Board of Directors Vice President of the now-nationwide Step-Up Women’s Network, the Executive Producer of American Storytellers on PBS, and President Emerita of Women’s Media Group New York.
Troy Schoenfisch: creator of The Crescendo Strategy - From 'Idea to Exit'. After a decade working as a 'traditional' Australian compliance accountant, Troy leapt into the world of start ups & innovation, specializing in financial modeling, growth strategy & investment preparation for businesses with innovative ideas & high growth potential. Troy has travelled the world for the past 7 years as a Fractional CFO & Management Consultant, working with pre-revenue startups, multinational corporations & NFP's in countries as widespread as Brazil, Bangladesh, Kenya, Monaco, the US & Australia, assisting companies to access funding & implement sound financial management processes & structures for both local & international growth.
Robert Herzog: Founder and CEO, ZogCulture and ZogSports, CEO Coach, Advisor. Rob conceived ZogSports, one of the nation’s largest adult recreational sports leagues, after his close call on 9/11 to, and 12 years ago, launched ZogCulture to help create playful team building experiences at work (in person and virtual). Now they are directly impacting over 100,000 people per year across 6 cities. ZogSports has made the Inc. 5000, Crain’s Best Places to Work list multiple times and earned the prestigious B Corporation “Best For the World – Community” award. In his role as a CEO Coach and Advisor, Rob has also worked with companies with 25-500+ employees in a variety of industries whose CEOs have a growth imperative and need help building the right team (help with hiring and firing), creating corporate culture and developing accountability/prioritization processes. A "reformed Management Consultant," he has an MBA in Entrepreneurial Management from Wharton and a BA in Economics (which he rarely uses) from Brown.
Tori Hanson: the founder of Meet In 10, a tech platform that match-makes attendees at professional events, to kick-start conversations. The launch was inspired by the networking challenges she observed while running The Knowledge Shop, her community for startup founders in New York. When she's not energizing the event scene or championing fellow British founders in their American ventures (a real passion project), Tori can be found hunting down the city's best live music spots or heading to the airport for another adventure.
