Vertex x KC7: Pre-Conference Training at CYBERWARCON

This hands-on training for CYBERWARCON attendees, provided by The Vertex Project in collaboration with the KC7 Foundation, will teach analysts how to track adversary activity across all phases of the attack lifecycle.
Attendees will learn how to:
- Investigate a realistic intrusion dataset (created by the KC7 Foundation’s proprietary technology) using Vertex’s Synapse Enterprise and Storm Query Language.
- Investigate cyber activity within various logs, including email, web traffic, and endpoint logs.
- Employ multiple techniques to pivot and track the activity of multiple Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) actors.
- Provide recommendations on actions a company can take to enhance their protection against cyber threats.
Who should attend:
This workshop is for new and experienced cybersecurity analysts. No prior experience using Synapse is necessary.
