Sustaining active hope for a new economy
Join us on day one before the welcome drinks reception for an experiential workshop that adapts Joanna Macy's powerful "Work That Reconnects" framework.
This workshop is designed for those who want space to connect more personally to the New Economies gathering’s theme: Hope in a Time of Collapse.
An afternoon of guided practices and discussion sessions, it invites participants to acknowledge and reflect on their experience of the uncertain and entangled world we are part of, without intellectualising or jumping to solutions. Together, attendees will explore what finding and sustaining active hope in the current geopolitical context requires, both as individuals and collectively for the global new economy movement.
This 3-hour participatory workshop is limited to 60 participants. P4NE grantees and New Economy Leadership Academy participants will be prioritised. We’ll select attendees from across geographies, disciplines, and approaches to change to reflect the breadth of the new economy ecosystem.
You must have already booked a ticket for the main gathering to attend this workshop. Registration will remain open until all places are filled, you will hear from us within three weeks of registering your interest.
