📣 Calling all Berlin L&D Shakers and Experiential Learning Enthusiasts! 🎮

🎮 Join Us for "Dataversed" - A Game-Based Learning Exploration of the Data Universe!

Are you a game-based learning enthusiast or still looking for ways to turn abstract and dry topics into engaging learning experiences?

In this session hosted by Isabelle Kranabetter, we’ll start by playing a few rounds of the simulation game "Dataversed". Based on this experience, we’ll discuss important aspects of game design in the learning context, how a game can be embedded methodically, and what practical questions arise when using games for learning.

🌟 Engaging Training Example: With the Simulation Game, "Dataversed", we’ll explore how to breathe life into seemingly dull content and make complex topics come alive.

🎭 Story, Design, Mechanics: We’ll have a closer look at elements like narratives, interactive mechanics, and captivating visuals that keep learners hooked.

⚖️ Balancing Fun and Learning: We’ll discuss the sweet spot between fun and effective learning, and how an analog game requires some adjustments for a great online learning experience.

🤖 Multiple Use Cases: We'll brainstorm how different versions of a game can be tailored to different learning needs, target groups and environments, so that the big investment of developing a game can be harvested in many different contexts.

You will walk away with great insights and a shared experience on how you can bring your own workshops to a new level using game-based learning!
