About Event
Join the Oppenheimer Project, DOE Office of Technology Transitions, Anthropocene Institute, IAEA, and industry guests for a roundtable discussion about nuclear energy for AI/data centers. What is the investment and carbon case for nuclear data centers/AI?
The focus will be on mechanisms, outlook, and progress in funding nuclear energy projects. Recent deals: Microsoft, Google, Nucor, Oklo and Equinix, and Amazon Talen will be discussed as well as DOE programs combined with private capital that could enable viable investment opportunities.
