About Event

Join us for a relaxed, one-hour climate communications session to write about your experiences at SF Climate Week and craft a compelling narrative for your blog, LinkedIn, Substack, or any platform of your choice.

Whether you're a founder, investor, student, advocate, or just exploring, this session will help you shape your insights into a publishable, impactful article.

If you don't feel like reading through the description below, here's a short Loom video to help you decide whether this event is right for you.

Why this matters

A recent Yale study found that messages about climate progress resonate across audiences—including those who might not typically engage with climate action.

One of the best tools we have for this? Blogging.

People tend to think of blogging as a marketing tactic. But it's so much more. It’s how scientists, engineers, and leaders have shared knowledge and influenced change for decades.

What to expect

This session will guide you in writing a "Takeaways from SF Climate Week 2025" article that you can share in a way that makes sense for you.

Session format:

📝 Introduction, prompt, and outline (10 min)
✍️ Open-gym style freewriting (20 min)
🔊 Read out loud (optional) (15 min)
🎯 Wrap-up and next steps (5 min)

Can’t attend live?

Sign up anyway! You’ll receive the course materials and a recorded version of the session (separate from the live event to protect privacy).

After the workshop

We’re creating a space for participants to connect, amplify, and support each other’s work...to help keep momentum up from the relationships built, lessons learned, and feedback gathered from SF Climate Week.
