Nature Journaling: Noticing seeds of new life
Connect to nature with an hour of poetry, doodling, and journaling.
The second in our ongoing Nature Journaling series, our theme this month is "Noticing Seeds of New Life." We'll explore what's growing in our external and inner landscapes, share some poetry, and have time to creatively express our connection to nature through visual journaling prompts.
Please bring 2-3 different forms of seeds to class. It could be dandelion seeds, maple leaf seeds, seeds from your garden, or refrigerator (did you know most "pits" are seeds?). We'll spend part of this class drawing, sketching, or painting these objects for further exploration.
Supplies: Please have a multi-media sketchbook on hand and your choice of materials to journal with. These might include watercolor paints, markers, colored pencils, magazines for cutting out photos, or an assortment of what inspires you!
