About Event

Come and hear the pioneering story of the collaboration between Verra and Ponterra to test, assess and improve Verra' s Nature Framework for Biodiversity.

We will welcome Amy Thom and Sinclair Vincent from Verra together with Jill Orhun and Celia Francis from Ponterra.

Here is a little bit about our guests from Verra:

Amy Thom - As Manager of Sustainable Development Innovation, Amy supports the evolution and expansion of Verra’s SD VISta and CCB programs and contributes to new sustainable development asset methodologies. Currently, Amy is the technical lead for the development of Verra’s SD VISta Nature Framework, which includes leading the framework’s global piloting process from implementation to analysis. Amy brings to Verra more than 10 years of field experience in rural development practice and applied socio-economic research, with expertise in strategic project design, implementation, and evaluation across geographies, sectoral themes, and impact areas.

Sinclair Vincent - As Senior Director of Sustainable Development Program Development & Innovation, Sinclair oversees the strategy, direction, and evolution of Verra’s suite of programs focused on sustainable development, including the Sustainable Development Verified Impact Standard (SD VISta); the Climate, Community & Biodiversity (CCB) Standards; and the Plastic Waste Reduction Standard. Sinclair leads the development of Verra’s SD VISta Nature Framework to scale investment in biodiversity conservation globally. She also leads the market development for Verra’s sustainable development programs, including corporate, commercial, and government engagement, to ensure these programs help users set and meet increasingly ambitious environmental and social goals.
