The Cleveland Salon is a dynamic, interactive gathering in downtown Cleveland where participants dive into spirited debates on big ideas in a warm, inclusive setting. Upon arrival, each attendee receives a token to randomly choose a side of a thought-provoking question, announced at the door. Groups then huddle to craft their core arguments, collaborating throughout the evening to defend or oppose a series of statements. As a team, you’ll sharpen your position, while individually reflecting on your beliefs, feelings, and perspectives—aiming to inch toward a group consensus by night’s end.
Arrival: Receive a token to pick a side (revealed at the door) for the evening’s central question.
Prep: Team up with your group to form core arguments in a collaborative strategy session.
Debate: Tackle a set of statements, with each group defending or opposing as a unit, guided by the moderator.
Reflection: Explore your personal thoughts and beliefs while working toward a loose group consensus.
Vibe: Engaging, respectful, and open—perfect for curious locals, thinkers, and creatives.
