Overview: Join us for an impactful evening launching the Washington, D.C. Global Soft Landing, a new initiative to support international founders, entrepreneurs, and businesses. Hear from leaders across immigration, education, and economic development about the benefits of starting a business here in the heart of our nation’s capital.

Our Mission: Expanding into a new country can be overwhelming, which is why it is essential to have the right partners to help you navigate the complexities of establishing a U.S. presence. The Washington, D.C. Global Soft Landing team is dedicated to supporting tech founders, foreign start-ups, and international businesses to successfully enter the Washington, D.C. market.

What to Expect:

6:00-6:30pm: Networking, light bites, beverages, and tours of Studio by Tishman Speyer, the official workspace provider for Washington, D.C. Global Soft Landing.

6:30-7:30pm: Keynotes speakers & panels featuring Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development Nina Albert, Leona Agouridis, President and CEO of the Golden Triangle Business Improvement District, Derek Ford, WDCEP President & CEO, and more. We will share stories, hear from foreign national founders, and discuss the benefits and impacts of Washington, D.C. Global Soft Landing.

7:30-8:00pm: Closing remarks & networking.
