ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP

On our last Blockheads meetup, Dr. Matt Adams (American Concrete Institute / NJIT) outlined ACI's new low carbon concrete building code. Let's follow up and talk about our ongoing (and new) opportunities to advocate for the code’s adoption by cities and states in North America, and discuss next steps for specific initiatives.

ABOUT BLOCKHEADS

Blockheads is an advocacy initiative jointly led by the Citizens Climate Lobby Greenhouse Gas Removal Action Team (GGREAT) and the OpenAir Collective. Its mission is to promote awareness of and mobilize grassroots participation in local and state advocacy efforts to accelerate the decarbonization of concrete. Blockheads hosts bi-weekly Wednesday workshops focused on educate and activism.
