Black in Climate: Community Breakfast + Census Report
Start your SF Climate Week right with a Black community breakfast! Join us to celebrate the first-ever open-source survey exploring the experiences, needs, and desires of Black folks working in climate/tech, environment, and sustainability.
Support a Black-owned eatery, make new friends to attend other events with throughout the week, and leave with a deeper understanding of what it's like out there to power your self-advocacy and community-building work across the space.
We'll also be joined by Matt Scott, Director of Storytelling and Engagement at Project Drawdown to highlight Black climate heroes from his Drawdown’s Neighborhood docuseries, empowering all of us to see the power of our individual stories in driving climate solutions.
This event has reached capacity two years in a row so don't sleep! Black in Climate is not-for-profit and tickets subsidize the event.
