Catalyst Convenings | Charities & Infrastructure Organisations 🎤
​Join us as we convene different stakeholders in the Catalyst universe to explore Catalyst's vision & mission and dive into key questions we are finding answers to as we continue our journey of transition into the next phase.
​What is it?
​As part of our Network Engagement strategy, we are convening several conversations for different stakeholders across our work at Catalyst. After doing a number of stakeholder mapping sessions, we've identified different groups of people working across the tech and social sector who we'd love to hear from and be in dialogue with, sharing our latest version of our vision & mission; exploring our key questions in our Knowledge board, testing and challenging our assumptions, and hearing about the work you're doing and the needs of the sector from your point of view - and what the role of Catalyst might be in shaping and contributing towards that vision. Are you interested in transformational forms of governance? Are you curious about decentralised networked ways of organising and building? Are you digging deeper into equity, and moving away from passive allyship to more active forms of comradeship in your work? Are you wondering what value Catalyst can bring to the social sector through working with digital, as part of an ecosystem? Are you thinking of ways to ensure community-led initiatives and organisations - formal and informal - have the greatest impact? Perhaps you're puzzling over other questions and are looking for like-minded people to share space with. We'd love you to sign up!
​In the spirit of reciprocity and curiosity, there will be opportunities to:
​Connect with each other and share updates on what you're working on, as well as hear about what Catalyst is doing
​Hear from other organisations and practitioners working on tech for good projects and/ or working on the frontlines of the social sector, servings our communities
​Learn from each other and test our assumptions
​The session will be facilitated by an experienced practitioner and more details will be sent out to confirmed attendees.
​Who is it for?
​The Catalyst Convenings are for a range of our stakeholders, including funders, digital agencies, and charities, social enterprises and social entrepreneurs, network / infrastructure-type organisations, freelancers and anybody interested in helping charities and non-profits develop their digital capacity and work in more meaningfully inclusive ways, with diversity, equity, and inclusion at the heart of their approach to their work.
​Each convening is themed, so please only sign up to the convening that best matches the area of work you're focused on, as questions will be tailored for each specific audience.
​Please note, spaces are limited. We aim to host 12 attendees at each conversation and each contributor will be paid an honorarium of £100 as a thank you for their time.
