​On-Device AI Builders Hackathon

​🚀 December 7-8 | NYU | Builders Only 🛠️

​Join LM Studio with Snapdragon + Microsoft for small, 20-team strong, builders-only hackathon. Build local LLM apps with Windows on ARM (Snapdragon) and push the boundaries of usefulness for on-device AI.

​Each team gets a Snapdragon PC to hack on. Spots are limited because teams that complete the hackathon get to keep the machine.

​Why Join:

• ​Hands-On Learning: Collaborate with Qualcomm, Microsoft, and LM Studio engineers

• ​Keep the Laptop: Complete your app and take home a Snapdragon laptop (one per team)

• ​Build Something Great: Push the limits of on-device AI

​Event Details:

• ​Starts: Dec 7 at 12 PM with a code-along by the LM Studio team

• ​Ends: Dec 8 at 2 PM with demos

• ​Where: NYU

• ​Limited Spots: Only 20 teams (1-4 members)

​Requirements:

• ​Max of 4 devs per team, solo allowed too

• ​Your project needs to push the usefulness of local AI in an interesting way

• ​Hybrid (some cloud, some local) is allowed, but not entirely cloud

• ​Build on top of LM Studio APIs on the device
