Join us for an exclusive women-only event for an inspiring conversation on the future of sustainable fashion in Southeast Asia.

EVENT DETAILS

Date: 12th March
Time: 6.30pm
Location: Monks Brew Club

ABOUT THE EVENT

The fashion industry accounts for approximately 10% of global carbon emissions and remains one of the largest industrial polluters worldwide. Yet, in rapidly growing Southeast Asian economies, sustainable fashion is still emerging as a viable alternative to fast fashion consumption patterns.

This exclusive event brings together sustainability advocates, fashion industry professionals, and conscious consumers to explore practical pathways toward a more environmentally responsible fashion ecosystem in our region.

FEATURED SPEAKER

Mahima Gujral, Founder of Sui
https://www.linkedin.com/in/mahimagujral/

Mahima's journey from fashion industry insider to sustainability pioneer offers a unique perspective on transforming the regional fashion landscape. Raised in a family deeply involved in the Indian fashion industry, Mahima gained invaluable insights into bespoke clothing creation, quality fabric sourcing, and the importance of nurturing ethical relationships throughout the value chain.

After graduating from Lasalle College of the Arts in Singapore and SDA Bocconi in Milan, Mahima's personal awakening to the environmental impact of fashion in 2016 led her to establish Sui - a brand committed to making sustainable fashion accessible without compromising on quality or ethical processes.

Self-described as the "Brown Girl on the Run," Mahima's connection to nature and passion for mindful living infuses her approach to sustainable fashion design and business practices. Through Sui, she is actively redefining sustainability through the practical lens of everyday clothing choices.
