Devops Workshop: AWS and Datadog
Details
This month we will have a DevOps workshop. This workshop will give you an introductory tour of Datadog’s integration for AWS. In a series of hands-on exercises, you will learn how to collect metrics and logs from core AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, ECS on Fargate, RDS, and EC2. Then, you will explore the resulting metrics, logs, and out-of-the-box dashboards in the Datadog app.
You will work with fully functional, ephemeral Datadog and AWS accounts to gain authentic experience and skills applicable to real-world use cases.
Our speaker Scott Mabe is a Technical Advocate at Datadog, and lives in Baltimore, Maryland. He likes breaking things almost as much as he enjoys fixing them. Scott has been working in cloud computing since 2012 and loves dogs. When he’s not working Scott enjoys traveling to see punk rock shows.
