About Event
Data@UCI is hosting their first ever Datathon (Welcome to Embark) in order to bring together data enthusiasts and business stakeholders from diverse backgrounds to solve practical problems using data science tools and techniques. Participants work in teams to analyze datasets, identify trends, and present insights that can help inform decision making or craft a specific solution. Throughout the event, attendees attend workshops on a wide variety of innovative topics presented by expert contributors in the community. Time is also set aside to network with other participants and event sponsors.
