About this workshop:
This workshop is the first in a series of activities that will explore how we, as interested and empowered professionals, can support the creation of productive, naturally embedded food systems that can support humanity's future.
In this first workshop we will explore:
- The various components contributing to the food system of the future
- The role of technology and industry in possible future food systems
- The problems and opportunities inherent in the transition to future food systems
Participants should:
- have experience and interest in food systems,
- a willingness to contribute and shape the future,
- and some experience with topics related to farming and agriculture, technology, economics and governance

- Introductions to the workshop and participants
- Initial objective setting and ideation
- Articulating and exploring the various themes
- Articulating the Big Hairy Audacious Goals for future food systems
- Exploring the drivers and detractors from achieving these

About your host:
Gustav has spent the last 5 years working in innovation and technology at the United Nations World Food Programme and is passionate about exploring new possibilities for nature and humanity to co-exist. He is an experienced facilitator, moderator and designer with an affinity for creating impactful and stimulating spaces for challenging our most critical and complex questions.
