Startup Village: Coffee Chat Roast w/ Ahmed
First impressions matter! In the competitive world of fundraising, effectively captivating an investor during initial meetings is crucial for success.
In this session, we'll role-play coffee chats where founders simulate conversations with Ahmed, who will take on the role of the investor. After each chat, Ahmed will provide insightful feedback, along with a light-hearted “roast” to help you improve your approach to meeting investors.
How This Works
Session Kickoff (5 minutes): Ahmed will introduce himself and discuss the significance of making a strong impression during initial investor meetings, sharing key strategies for effectively engaging potential investors.
Coffee Chats and Feedback (55 minutes): Three founders will participate in 10-minute coffee chats with Ahmed, where they simulate pitching to an investor. Following each chat, Ahmed will offer actionable feedback, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement while keeping the atmosphere constructive and fun.
