About Event

Join us for the kickoff meeting of Citizens' Climate Lobby's new Greenhouse Gas Removal action team.

Chris Neidl, co-founder of the OpenAir Collective and Impact Director with Rethinking Removals, will provide a practical framework to help both interested learners and experienced advocates deepen their understanding of greenhouse gas removal.

In this session, Mr. Neidl will address the following questions: What is greenhouse gas removal – as a concept, an imperative, and a nascent global industry – and why should we care about it if we care about maintaining a livable climate?  Who are the people and organizations endeavoring to make carbon removal a reality – through education, advocacy, and enterprise? What barriers do they face and what progress are they making?
