About Event

In celebration of the United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC), Oceanic Global invites you to join us for a screening of three of the five the winning films of the 2025 Oceanic Global Short Film Festival at ‘La Baleine’ (Green Zone) on Thursday, 11 June 2025 in Nice, France.

At the intersection of culture and conservation, Oceanic Global harnesses the power of art, film, and immersive storytelling to drive tangible impact for our blue planet. As part of our global programming, Oceanic Global's Short Film Festival celebrates filmmakers who move beyond visual beauty to explore the deeper responsibility of sustaining what sustains us.

Launched in 2020, the festival is quickly emerging as a platform for bold environmental storytelling. This year’s edition invites audiences into a cinematic experience that spans continents and cultures, surfacing untold ocean narratives, underrepresented voices, and new ways of connecting with our blue planet.
