Permanent Carbon Removals Tour @ Charm Industrial Day 3

​In 2023 more than $450M of permanent carbon dioxide  removal (CDR) purchases have been announced across Stripe, Google, JP Morgan, Amazon, Meta, Shopify, Workday, H&M, Workday, Mckinsey and others. Also, the US DOE announced the first $1B+ in grant funding for Direct Air Capture hubs and a separate $35M direct purchase program.

​These announcements build on more than $1.3B dollars in commitments to permanent carbon removal purchasing in 2022.

​San Francisco is emerging as a geographic hub for permanent carbon removals, with more than a dozen permanent carbon removals companies and purchasers in the area.

​Charm Industrial, the current leader in reported 1000+ year permanent removals, will be hosting a tour of its first and second generation carbon removal machines as well as its fossil free iron making pilot plant.
