About Event

Join us for this informative talk about how you can provide the best preventative care for your dogs!

Prevention is always a hot topic for pet parents --- but it's a challenging one too! There are lots of supplements, diets, and exercise routines that are recommended to ensure a good life for our pups.

Our speaker Dr. Jessica Lee from West Village Vets will share her perspective on how pet parents can think about preventative care.

  • What areas to focus on?

  • What modalities are most beneficial?

  • What type of preventative care is age appropriate?

  • How to find cost-effective ways to support your dog?

Attendees can submit topics of interest when registering for this event.

This event is free and will be followed by a Petminded Members Only Q&A. Members, please go into the Circle community to find your link.

Our Speaker: Dr. Jessica Lee developed her passion for animals and medicine while working at her hometown clinic in New Jersey. She continued to pursue her interests by majoring in Animal Science while attending Rutgers University. After a backpacking trip in Australia, she went on to earn her Veterinariae Medicinae Doctoris (VMD) from the University of Pennsylvania. During her time at Penn, Dr. Lee participated in researching genetic diseases affecting dogs through the NIH/Merial Veterinary Scholars Program. In addition to the regular veterinary curriculum, Dr. Lee also spent time abroad in China training and translating for local dairy veterinarians. After graduation, Dr. Lee was awarded a small animal rotating internship at the Veterinary Emergency Referral Group (VERG) in Brooklyn, NY. Her professional interests include emergency and critical care, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Lee currently lives in Brooklyn Heights with her spaniel mix, Indie. Her favorite activities include traveling abroad, exploring good eats around the city, running and playing intramural sports, and hiking with her dog. You can learn more about her at West Village Vets.
