About Event

Value-based care is at an inflection point. Medicare Advantage - and money - has tightened up in 2024. There’s plenty of apprehension around prior authorization, utilization management, and payors expecting more and more from their enablement and risk-bearing partners.

Within the value-based care landscape, the low-hanging fruit around site-of-service differentials, a low utilization environment, and better care coordination in primary care has played itself out. As utilization and acuity levels rise amid an aging population, risk-bearing organizations are looking to the next level of value-based care.

Value-based 2.0 is on the horizon. Specialty care’s time is now.

Specialty care drives a disproportionate share of healthcare costs, but up until recently, specialists have remained untouched by value-based care initiatives

Meanwhile, the space has received rampant investment from health systems, payors, and venture capitalists alike given the notable economic opportunity to drive significant downstream savings while aligning incentives.

Join seasoned executives from leading value-based specialty care enablement firms - Strive Health and Karoo Health - alongside me, Blake Madden, as we have a thoughtful discussion around the latest trends affecting specialty VBC at-large, and a more tactical discussion around the kidney care and cardiology spaces, including how these organizations are transforming specialty care in America.
