Getting Started with MLOps Open Source
Bring your laptop! Some programming experience is required. We're going to be getting hands-on!
Intro
The NYC MLOps Community is thrilled to join the ML Platform team at Capital One once again to learn more about getting started with MLOps Open Source. Join us at 6pm on Thursday, May 2nd!
Event Format
We are eager to break down the barrier to entry of making open source contributions through this hands-on event. We want you to get first-hand experience contributing to an Open Source MLOps library.
Our event will focus on the popular open source library Kubeflow. Kubeflow is dedicated to making deployments of machine learning workflows on Kubernetes simple, portable and scalable.
We'll kick off with an intro to open source contribution led by Alexander Perlman, a Kubeflow contributor. Armed with this knowledge, we’ll split into working groups to put together our own PRs for Kubeflow on select advance tickets followed by preliminary group reviews with Kubeflow Maintainer Andrey Velichkevich.
The evening will wrap up with a series of lightning talks from contributors sharing some of their favorite contributions to the greater ML Ops world.
