World Cafe: Home is where the heart is? 何處是吾家?

​💭 The Why

​'Home' is a deeply personal and evolving concept that resides in the memories, connections, and emotions cultivated along our unique journeys. While traveling, I often ask people, "Where would you call home?" This question consistently elicits diverse and intriguing perspectives.

Whether you were born and raised in Hong Kong, have ventured far from your hometown, are constantly on the move, or are contemplating your next destination, you are warmly invited to join us this evening to delve into what 'home' truly means to you.

​☕ The How - World Cafe

• ​The World Cafe method creates a safe and welcoming environment to connect multiple ideas and perspectives on a topic, by engaging participants in several rounds of small-group conversation.

• ​It fosters an evolving dialogue and unfolds collective wisdom through our ability to Think Together.

​The What

​📝 What can you expect?

• ​7 pm doors open. Drink and light food are available to share

• ​7:30 pm-9:30 pm World Cafe

• ​9:30 pm-10 pm Mingle + wrap up

​💰What is the cost?

• ​Standard: HKD 120 per person. This will cover one drink each and light food for sharing. You are welcome to order additional food and drinks at your own expense on-site.
  

• ​Supporter: If you wish to support future World Cafes, which I will endeavour to host monthly for the community, there is a flexible pricing option capped at HKD 200.

​🗣️ What is the language used for this event?

• ​English (Welcome to all nationalities who are comfortable speaking English!)

​🏃🏻‍♀️What if I can't arrive by 7 pm?

• ​No worries. We understand that work schedules can be fluid sometimes. The first 30 minutes are for us to freshen up and get ready. Kindly arrive before 7:30 p.m. to join the sharing session. ​✨ What happens if the event is fully booked?

• ​Please also sign-up and you will be put on the waiting list, pending for approval. If a spot opens up, I’ll reach out so you can decide if you want to join.
  
  If no spots become available, don’t worry—I’ll process a full refund for you. Plus, if we get enough interest, we can definitely set up another session!
