​​​​​​what is serendipity? my favourite word, and it means:

• ​​​​​​the occurrence and development of events by chance in a happy or beneficial way

​​​​​​the serendipitous cafe is:

• ​​​​​​a space curated to optimize for serendipitous connections (because let's be real, the best things in life come to us in an unexpected ways.)

• ​​​​​​a welcoming and safe space for all

• ​​​​​​a place we hope you'll want to keep coming back to 🩷

• ​​​​*please note that my cat, Miso, is around. she's super friendly but something to be mindful of incase of allergies 🐈

​​​​​​this is volume thirty. there will be fresh coffee + baked goods, and hopefully lots of laughter and good energy.

​​​​​​p.s. you will only be charged once accepted into the event! your credit card/debit card will have a hold put on it, and if you are not accepted into the event (due to capacity) it will be reversed.

• ​how can i make the most of my experience?

  • ​come with ideas/thoughts/questions, and with an open mind + willingness to connect. conversations range widely - but it helps navigate a room filled with strangers when you have a question in your back pocket 💖​​​​ it can be as light or as deep as you'd like! previous topics have ranged from ethical use of AI to dating in the city - it truly can be anything! we're grateful to the openness of past attendees and hope to continue carrying this energy forward as scale.

• ​can i come late/leave early?

  • ​​​​​yes! the cafe is drop-in style; we typically find that people stay beyond the scheduled time but coming and going is totally flexible :)

• ​​​​​what is the general vibe of the cafe?

  • ​​​​​it's definitely a place for yappers! we spend majority of the time chatting and getting to know each-other. the conversations aren't facilitated but generally flow in a ✨ serendipitous ✨ way

• ​​​​​i can't make it anymore! can i get a refund?

  • ​​​​​unfortunately we don't offer refunds as the event sells out and there's typically a waitlist given the smaller capacity limit.
