Chain Lakes Hike, Washington
Get ready for an incredible outdoor adventure as we embark on the Chain Lakes Loop Hike in Washington, USA! We’ll kick off our journey early in the morning, leaving Vancouver at 7:00 AM and carpooling together across the border. This scenic hike is located in the stunning Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, known for its spectacular views of rugged mountain peaks, crystal-clear alpine lakes, and vibrant wildflower meadows.
The Chain Lakes Loop is a 10-kilometer (6.5-mile) trail that offers moderate challenges, making it perfect for hikers looking to push themselves a bit while enjoying some of the most breathtaking landscapes the Pacific Northwest has to offer. The loop takes approximately 5 hours to complete, including stops along the way for photos, rest, and, of course, to soak in the incredible views. Key highlights of the hike include Mazama Lake, Iceberg Lake, and the stunning vistas from Herman Saddle, where you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views of Mount Baker and Mount Shuksan.
After the hike, we’ll take a moment to relax and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings before heading back to Vancouver. On the way back, we’ll also stop for an optional dinner to round off the day with good food and great company. Please remember that all costs, including gas and any other trip expenses, will be shared among the participants.
