The Last First Date - A Secret Supper Dating Club

​A singles-only dining experience which only happens once a year.

We are partnering up with Matchbox for a friends-of-friends edition of their signature matching parties. Powered by the technology behind The Marriage Pact that has matched 750,000 people to date, Matchbox will find your best match at the party.

​This edition is a supper-club concept at Carousel - known for their Guest Chef roster and quality produce sourced from ethically-minded UK farmers, foragers and fishermen - it's an experience you won't find anywhere else in London. See menu in details

​Come with a friend, leave with a friend or more. (Each pair needs to purchase 1 ticket each - 1 man + 1 woman, and on the sign up form include the name of your +1) 

​​​How it works:

• ​Grab your ticket and make sure your +1 (friend of opposite sex) also grabs theirs

  • ​In case you need time to secure your +1 - put TBD and make sure your +1 signs up with your name when they get their ticket

• ​Once approved - we'll send you the Matchbox questionnaire to determine your optimal match at the dinner party 

• ​​Mingle with dozens of other great single friends-of-friends!

​​​Each registrant and their +1 must purchase 1 ticket each (1 woman interested in men + 1 man interested in women). Your +1 should be a platonic friend you think is an all-round great catch and would be a great match for someone else.

Agenda Preview:

• ​​​6:30: Welcome drinks & Arrivals

• ​​7:30: Doors close promptly at 7:30 (no admittance for late arrivals)

• ​​8:00-10:00: Find your match and sit for a full course set dinner at an iconic Soho restaurant famous for their chef residencies

• ​​10:00+: Drinks and Opional After Party at a venue close by

​​Please arrive on time, as late arrivals run the risk of not being admitted and risk impacting the matching experience for others.

• ​​Q: Why do I have to bring a +1?

  • ​​A:​ We know you have great taste in friends, and we want to meet them. This requirement ensures both, that everyone is vetted and that our events are always gender-balanced.

  • ​​We also value the power of community. We don't believe that dating should be an isolated, anonymous experience, but rather an integrated and social one.

  • ​​Finally, we need YOUR help bringing together the best single people in London! If you're hoping to meet other people's great single friends, we require that you bring one for someone else to meet as well.

• ​​Q: What is included in the ticket? 

  • ​​A: Your ticket includes
    Admission for 1 person
    3 course dinner with water & soft drinks (alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase) 

• ​​Q: What if I don't have anyone to bring?

  • ​​​​A: We get that this might be a challenge, but we encourage you to keep your eyes open for great single friends you may have overlooked. Is there an old university mate, coworker, or friend-of-a-friend you might not be thinking of? Try asking around, and you might be surprised by who wants to join you. Top tip post on your instagram story describing the event and with a poll ask if anyone wants to join you. We are almost certain you will have a few people vote yes. Then the choice is yours.

  • ​​This should go without saying, but please only bring people you like and trust. If you wouldn't be happy to see a friend date them, please don't bring them. They don't have to be your best friend, but you should know them well enough to vouch for them.

  • ​​​​A: This event is designed for those who identify as women interested in men or men interested in women.

  • ​​​​A: No refunds will be granted. You are responsible for finding your own +1, and you will be neither refunded nor granted admission if you arrive without an appropriate +1.

​There will not be any photographers or content captured as we do not require them for marketing material for future events. We also feel this takes away from the experience and is not a compromise we wanted to make. This event only happens once a year so be quick to get your request to join in as there are only 36 spaces available.
