Join us for the London Climate Action Week 2025 Opening Event
As London prepares to host its most ambitious edition of London Climate Action Week yet, you're invited to an evening that brings together leading voices on climate around the world.
Hosted by Wellcome and E3G, in their stunning Reading Room at the Wellcome Collection, this evening convenes London's climate community with international partners, innovators, and changemakers as we officially open Europe's largest city-wide climate festival.
Join us to explore London Climate Action Week's ambitious vision for global climate leadership, discover Wellcome's mission to put health at the heart of climate action, and celebrate the launch of a week that connects local action with global impact.
Speeches will begin at 7pm. Drinks and canapés will be served.
Setting the agenda for 2025
Speeches from leading voices in London, UK and Brazil will set the agenda for LCAW 2025 as key moment in the global climate calendar on the road to COP30, and harness London's power for global and local climate action.

📚 Archive Treasures – Discover extraordinary collection items curated for the evening, bringing to life Wellcome's mission to put health at the heart of climate action
🍽️ Our connection with freshwater – Experience a low water footprint menu, created in partnership with Wonder Water Café, as we mark the opening of Thirst: In Search of Freshwater on Thursday 26 June - a new exhibition at the Wellcome Collection exploring freshwater as a source of life and an essential pillar of good health.

LCAW 2025 runs 21-29 June, positioning London as a hub for international climate collaboration with themes focusing on:

This opening event connects London's climate leadership with global networks, creating the conversations that bridge local innovation with international impact.
Registration of Interest
This is an invitation-only event. You may register your interest below, and the London Climate Action Week Secretariat will review applications to ensure a diverse gathering of climate leaders from across sectors and geographies.
