About Event

Join Work on Climate community members as they discuss their transition to climate work and how they overcame ecosystem barriers to get there.

​​​4 Talks, 4 Industries, 4 Functions

​​​Discover diverse pathways to meaningful climate work as four Work on Climate community members from various climate and sustainability sectors divulge their transitions and strategies for overcoming ecosystem barriers.

​​​Each speaker will have 10 minutes to share their success story. This will be followed by a Q&A segment and breakout room sessions, where you can connect directly with speakers and other attendees.

Justin Beroz

CEO at ReynKo Inc.

​Justin is the founder and CEO of ReynKo Inc., specializing in technical solutions for turbulent fluid flows. Holding dual Ph.D.s in mechanical engineering and physics from MIT, Beroz emphasizes the practicality of theory. He recently developed a closed-form mathematical framework for turbulent fluids, underpinning ReynKo's technology.

Haley Northrup

Senior Data Scientist at Uplight

Haley is a Senior Data scientist at Uplight, an energy software company in Boulder, CO. Skilled in data analysis and machine learning. Northrup is recognized as a driven and collaborative professional with strong project management and communication abilities.

Prakhar Agarwal

Principal Product Manager at Optiwatt

Prakhar is the Principal Product Manager at Optiwatt, a company that integrates with EVs and utility providers to optimize energy use, reduce grid strain, and support decarbonization efforts while helping reduce at-home EV charging costs. Prakhar is an entrepreneurial product leader with 13 years of experience building and commercializing data-driven enterprise software products across many industries like Energy, Manufacturing, Climate, and Geospatial. He also mentors several startups in the sustainability space.

Anna Zelcer

Sustainability Coordinator at Angelini Pharma

Anna is the Sustainability Coordinator at Angelini Pharma and the Climate Fresk Local Ambassador for Georgia. With six years of experience in sustainability project management, Anna moved from Paris, France to Atlanta, GA in 2022. Since 2020, she has facilitated and trained over 250 people in both English and Spanish. Her impressive portfolio includes working with US leadership teams at companies like Dior, Exotec, FACC, and ISA, as well as universities such as Georgia Tech, Emory, and Georgia State, and schools like Morningside Elementary and Marist School. Additionally, she is a speaker for Grant Thornton, Commodity People, Super South Summit and several universities.
