Child Safety Training for Youth Program Staff

​All volunteer staff from NEYM's youth programs are invited to gather on Monday, December 12th from 7:00-9:00 p.m. on Zoom for a staff training. 

We will be focusing on reviewing our Child Safety Policy, as well as sharing our experiences in our work with Quaker youth, and connecting to a shared vision for the programs we serve.

Before we gather on Zoom, participants will be required to watch this brief training video on child safety policy. By watching this video ahead of time, staffers will be able to process information at their own pace, bring their questions to the gathering, and have more time to connect with fellow staff about the best ways to implement this policy and connect to the purpose of our youth programs. Staffers who are unable to attend the training will have this video available to them to make sure they are up to date on child safety policy and ready to staff youth gatherings this year.

This is going to be a great refresher for long-time staff, useful preparation for newer staff, and an opportunity for all of us to build a more cohesive and consistent ministry across all Quaker youth programs in New England.
