Featured Speakers:

Anne M. Richard has served as dean of admissions at three top-tier law schools – University of Virginia School of Law, The George Washington University Law School, and George Mason University School of Law. Prior to entering higher education, Anne practiced law in both the private and public sectors. From 1984 to 1995, she was a litigation associate and partner in a large law firm in Washington, D.C./Northern Virginia. From 1995 to 1997, she served as an attorney in the United States Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. Anne earned her law degree from Yale Law School; her master’s degree in economics from Boston College; and her bachelor’s degree in English and economics from Boston College, summa cum laude. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

Since 2014, Anne has been operating her own pre-law and educational consulting business, AMRichard Consulting. She brings a wealth of experience and can share with prospective law students a great deal more than simply helping them prepare their law school applications. Anne has been praised by prospective law students, prelaw advisors and law school admissions colleagues for her high energy, commitment to the legal profession, honesty and candor.

Kat Schroll serves as the Associate Dean of Admissions and Enrollment Management at the University of Miami School of Law. Dean Schroll is actively involved with the Law School Admission Council (LSAC), currently serving as a member of LSAC's Board of Trustees, and the Chair of the Schools and Candidates Committee.  Dean Schroll is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. She earned her JD from the University of Maryland Carey School of Law. Prior to attending law school, she graduated summa cum laude from Florida International University in Miami, Florida, where she earned a BA in Economics.

Rob Schwartz is the dean of admissions at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Law. Dean Schwartz graduated magna cum laude from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University, and practiced law for several years before entering the law school admissions profession. Dean Schwartz has served on a number of Law School Admission Council committees, including the New Admission Personnel and Faculty Members Workshop Planning Work Group, the Annual Meeting and Educational Conference Planning Work Group, and the Services and Programs Committee.

Matthew Dillard is the Director of Admissions at George Washington University Law School. He loves the job, which combines his interests in counseling students individually and assembling classes that reflect a diversity of experiences, backgrounds, and interests. Prior to his current role, Matthew advised students in various capacities in the law school's Admissions and Dean of Students offices for over a decade. He serves on the LSAC Misconduct and Irregularities Subcommittee and was the law school representative on the Board of the Northeastern Association of Pre-Law Advisors. A first-generation student, Matthew graduated from Vassar College and GW Law and is a member of the GW Lambda Law Alumni Association.
