About the Circle
As kids, hobbies came easily — sketching, cricket, collecting stamps, or just tinkering with something new. But as adults, between work, family, and endless notifications, finding (and keeping) a hobby often feels harder. Some of us pick them up and drop them. Others stumble into one that stays for life.
This Perspectives Circle is about reflecting on how we discover and nurture hobbies as adults - the joy, the struggle, and the motivation it takes. From pottery to pickleball, guitar to gaming, we’ll share stories of what hobbies mean to us, and what role they play in keeping life balanced, playful, and fulfilling.
Initiator Profile
The initiator has spent over a decade searching for a hobby that sticks. He has tried guitar, gaming, drums, even “Netflixing” - only to move on after a while. While he loves traveling, hosting friends, and playing board games, he’s still searching for that solo hobby that feels like his own way to unwind after work.
He’s hosting this circle not as an expert, but as a fellow seeker - curious to hear how others have found hobbies that matter, and what “a hobby” really means in adult life.
