流动的食物书写: 超时空水墨实验室春节特别篇
这个春节，超时空水墨实验室将以“吃” 和语言为线索，展开对食物，身份，记忆，语言，命名方式等等不同角度的讨论和实践。
工作坊第一部分将从Xinyi去年在东南亚和中国西南的旅程中观察到的食物民族志视角故事开始，从食物及其名字在不同地域，不同语言习惯下的变迁与异同中找到连接。
工作坊第二部分，由Huiqi分享传统与当代书法中的食物书写，并帮助参与者练习书法。【工作坊将提供不同类型的纸与毛笔供参与者完成食物春联，菜单，横幅，涂鸦等等不同形式的创作。】我们非常欢迎参与者分享与书写的食物相关记忆与故事！
Celebrate the New Year with Ink Painting Lab at Accent Sister. This workshop invites you to explore the intersections of food, identity, memory, language, and naming through the themes of “eating” and “writing.” The first part of the workshop will open with Xinyi’s stories of food encounters across regions in Southeast Asia and Southwest China this past summer. Through eating and attending to the variations of food names and their transcription with the tongue, we uncover relations and shared connections among seemingly distant traditions. In the second part, Huiqi will introduce the art of writing about food in traditional and modern calligraphy and guide participants through calligraphy practice. Brushes and a variety of papers will be provided for you to create your own food-themed New Year couplets, menus, or banners. We encourage you to share your personal stories and cherished food memories throughout the workshop.

何卉奇是一位跨学科艺术家和研究者，实践根植于本土经验、仪式与记忆，让流动的生命体验与实践在跨文化空间中弥散、触碰和连接林间缝隙，模糊固定边界。她近期关注中国南方山地的巫术实践与叙事，结合民族志的研究方法和个体的身体感官经验进行影像、水墨、装置，行为等跨媒介创作。卉奇本科毕业于广州美术学院国画系，研究生毕业于纽约视觉艺术学院艺术实践系，以及伦敦金史密斯学院视觉人类学系。
Huiqi He is an interdisciplinary artist and researcher whose practice is rooted in local experiences, rituals, and memories, She lets fluid queer experiences and practices disperse, touch, and connect within the interstices of forests in cross-cultural spaces. Huiqi’s recent work focuses on the shamanistic practices and narratives of southern China, combining ethnographic research methods with personal bodily sensory experiences to create multimedia works such as video, ink painting, installation, and performance. Huiqi graduated with a BFA in Chinese Painting from the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, an MFA in Art Practice from the School of Visual Arts, and an MA in Visual Anthropology from Goldsmiths.
李心怡是一位教育者和设计师，游走驻足于多重边界之间。她的实践涵盖教学表达、图示化媒介以及视觉不透明性。她的近期研究关注离散经验与饮食文化，数字与创造性反叛，以及在跨国与跨文化语境中的语言运用和教学方法。她现任纽约普瑞特艺术学院传播设计系副教授，与“后变革教学法”小组一起探讨塑造设计教育实践的传统。她曾在普林斯顿大学数字人文研究中心参与合作项目，以及曾从事有关医疗体验的设计研究。
Xinyi Li is an educator and designer trespassing and dwelling on multiple thresholds. Her practice spans pedagogical expression, diagrammatic media, and visual opacity. Her recent work addresses diasporic experiences and food practices, digital resistance and creative subversions, as well as language and pedagogy in transnational and transcultural contexts. She is currently an Associate Professor in the Undergraduate Communications Design Department at Pratt Institute. With the group post-radical pedagogy, she questions the values and legacies that shape design pedagogical practice. Previously, she collaborated on Digital Humanities projects at the Center for Digital Humanities at Princeton University and engaged with design research for healthcare experience.
