​Gradient Ascent is a casual meetup for AI engineers, ML researchers, data scientists and anyone working in or adjacent to artificial intelligence with an interest for climbing.

Whether you're crushing v10s or just looking for a workout, this is a low-pressure space to connect with folks who love both ML problems and climbing problems.

• ​Founders and builders in the AI space

• ​Anyone who wants to hang (literally) with other tech folks who climb

​All climbing levels welcome, from first-timers to crushers. You don’t need to be deep into deep learning or climbing to show up.

​What to Expect?

• ​Casual indoor climbing session at Vauxwall East

• ​Light intros and conversations with fellow AI engineers

• ​Optional group warm-up and shared routes

• ​Chill, come-as-you-are vibe (no pitches, no panels, just people)

​Bring your climbing shoes, curiosity, and some good banter about models or moves. If you're new to climbing, that's totally fine. We’ll help you get started or pair you up.

• ​Pre-requisites: If you're new to climbing, we'll share the prerequisite waiver form to complete pre-climb

​We'll likely grab drinks or food after nearby, so even if you're not climbing, come say hi.
